As the youngest child in the family, Chairman Jerry Lee never imagined that he would one day take over the family business. Fresh out of university, he was ready to explore a future filled with endless possibilities. However, when the family business, Jing Hong Examine Technology (JHET), faced financial difficulties, his mother specifically asked him to step in and take over this “hot potato.” At the time, Jerry felt uncertain and thought of himself as merely “trying to save a lost cause.” Looking back now, he realizes his mother's vision far surpassed his own. 

When Jerry first took over, the pressure was immense. Faced with a struggling company, he was determined to shoulder the family's responsibility while refusing to give up. He began reassessing the market, redirecting resources from niche services to the more promising mainstream testing industry. Simultaneously, he worked on improving internal efficiency and enhancing training mechanisms. He told his team, “Let's focus on building a strong foundation first so we can retain our existing customers and earn the trust of new ones!” Step by step, he not only turned the company's losses into profits but also led JHET to achieve stable growth, diversify its operations, and successfully expand into international markets, propelling the business to new heights. 

When it comes to selecting employees, Jerry follows a simple principle: simplicity and kindness. He firmly believes that skills can be taught over time, but character is the true foundation of collaboration. Especially in the inspection services industry, where integrity is paramount, only kind and honest individuals can uphold the quality and trust that define the service. 

For Jerry, the most important aspect of running a business is staying loyal to customers and prioritizing service quality. The testing, inspection and certification (TIC) service industry is fundamentally built on trust, which stems from professionalism and integrity. Therefore, he remains committed to steady and sustainable management, avoiding the pursuit of quick success. Instead, he ensures that every step is solidly taken to guarantee that JHET delivers high-quality and reliable services. 

From the initial mindset of "a do-or-die attempt" to now steadily leading the company forward, Jerry believes that stable management is indeed the key to a company's long-term success. Moreover, running a business is not just a responsibility to one's family but also a commitment to clients, employees, and even the industry itself. He firmly believes that as long as one works diligently and stays true to their original intentions, the future of the company will undoubtedly be even brighter!
